Liliana Uribe, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical social worker with over 12 years of experience. She received her PhD in social work to continue teaching in higher education. At the Neomedicine Institute, Dr. Uribe specializes in providing ketamine assisted psychotherapy to enhance the effect of the ketamine treatment by helping patients work on the root cause of anxiety, depression, PTSD, and/or addiction.  

She has experience working with a variety of clients in various settings and situations, including domestic violence in families, children, children with behavioral challenges, medical social work, psychiatric facilities, family court, geriatric population in home health, nursing home, and hospital setting and adults.

Dr. Uribe works on a holistic approach utilizing the 8 dimensions of wellness: emotional, social, intellectual, occupational, environmental, spiritual, mental, and financial to help you achieve the best version of yourself. She offers psychotherapy for individuals, couples, and families. She provides cognitive behavioral therapy for topics including, but not limited to abuse, anger management, anxiety, behavioral issues, family conflict, panic, depression, grief & loss, trauma, PTSD, stress, suicidal ideations, and much more.

Dr. Uribe works with an individual’s strengths and how they cope with difficult situations to enhance it. Dr. Uribe believes that “at one point in time we all experience challenges. Yet, challenging life experiences do not define us, they challenge us to be better. It is important to acknowledge these challenges and the need to find help. Therapy is meant to help you find your own path and answers to your challenges.”
